The UDO builds upon the City’s PRIME North Charleston Comprehensive Plan and aligns with other major initiatives, including Lowcountry Rapid Transit and Safe Streets for All. Together, these efforts ensure that future growth strengthens our neighborhoods, improves how we move through the city, and enhances overall quality of life rather than straining it.
